Downtown Kingston was the scene of another murder after armed assailants carried out a deadly streak along Luke lane leaving two men dead yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Neville Taitt a resident of West Bay/Garvey Meade in Portmore St Catherine and 43-year-old Michael James a businessman of Luke Lane, Kingston.

Reports indicate that around 8:00 p.m., both James and Taitt were at a Juice outlet along Luke lane when armed men walked up and opened fire hitting them multiple times.

Taitt died on the spot while James died while undergoing treatment at the Kingston Public Hospital.

No arrests or motive has been made for the killings however an investigation has been launched by the police to ascertain the aforementioned.

Additionally, citizens are being asked to come forward with information that will aid in the investigation.
