Days after the tragic passing of Migos member Takeoff, rapper Offset subtly paid tribute after changing his Instagram Avatar to that of his former group-mate Takeoff.
Offset reportedly split from the rap group earlier this year for unspecified reasons to pursue his own solo career.
The circumstances of his departure while unconfirmed, have been rumored to be not on the best of terms.
That however was a non-factor for the “Clout” rapper subtly added his public tribute on Wednesday night in wake of takeoff’s passing. He’s yet to publicly comment on the situation.
Offset, 30, added a white heart emoji in the corner of the photo.

It’s reported that Takeoff was playing a dice game at 810 Billiards & Bowling around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday when an altercation broke out and a gun went off.
The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene when the Houston Police Department arrived.
The Migos was formed in 2008 by Takeoff and Offset who are cousins and their respective uncle and cousin Quavo, who was also at the scene.
Following Offest’s spilt from the group, Takeoff and Quavo released music as a duo under the moniker Unc & Phew.
“We don’t know all the answers,” Takeoff said in an episode of the “Big Facts” podcast last month. “God knows. So we pray a lot” he continued
“Only time will tell,” he continued at the time. “We always family now. Ain’t nothing gonna change ” he added.
Takeoff is said to have been stuck in the head and torso by stray shots following an argument nearby. He was 28 years old.
