Days after being elevated as the top trending artiste on YouTube, following his viral hit ‘Umbrella’, Gennah Syde Boss Masicka has clearly set his sights on a Christmas takeover, after teasing the release of Like Gold.

The track which was teased as a story post on his Instagram page, comes almost two days after Umbrella’s release.

The Top striker, teased the cover art of a single, which by its appearance seems dedicated to the ladies.

Masicka, earlier in the summer; shared to his fans that; he was carefully curating content for another classic album. Also, he hinted that any new release would have been only heat as he assured fans that the wait would be worthwhile.

The ‘They Don’t know’ hitmaker clearly has a golden touch when it comes to churning out hit singles.

Masicka doubled down on the tease, with what seems to be a scene from a video shoot. A strong hint of both the single and visuals for the song is to be expected in short order.

The ‘Matches’ hitmaker, is also rumored to be attached to one of several musical feuds which have emerged in recent times following the announced return of the clash-centered Dancehall stage show Sting.

 It however remains unclear if any material will be dedicated to that arena.

That being said, what could happen is another December drop for his project.

Masicka who dropped his debut album- ‘438’ in December last year, could follow up with another year-end drop for his fans.

Whilst a potential date has not yet been disclosed for the project it would not be a farfetched expectation in December.
