Bail application for Shabdon delayed

Dancehall producer Linval “Shab Don” Thompson, will reportedly have to wait until September 26 to have his bail application submitted and reviewed following his recent appearance in St James Parish court.

It’s understood that an application for the music maker was deferred until his next hearing which is said to be in three weeks’ time, where the case file on the charges is expected to be completed

The producer is facing three counts of murder, after being implicated in a triple killing in Rose Heights, St James, on May 25.

Thompson Jr has been held in remand since his June arrest by police during a targeted operation in the St Catherine South Police Division.

The arrest comes shortly after being freed on gun charges in April and reportedly pending a hearing on bribery charges, in connection to the same incident.

Thompson has been charged for the shooting deaths of 24-year-old Chamario “Chippy” Calvin of 27-year-old Chadwell Frazer,27, o/c Bomb Brain and Toniann “Too Fly” Reid. 26

The shooting is understood to have taken place at a birthday party on Marl Road in Rose Heights area.
