A driver linked to this morning’s fatal crash on Bustamante Highway in Clarendon is being questioned in relation to the incident. The collision claimed the life of 55-year-old driver James Davis otherwise called ‘Prento’ and injured three others.
Reports indicate that sometime after 5:00 a.m., two trucks were involved in crash that happened on a section of the Bustamante Highway.
Further reports outlined that the truck and the coaster bus each had two occupants who sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash however remains unknown.
Inspector from the Clarendon police division’s operations Everton Williamson also outlined that the passengers who sustained injuries from the accident are in stable conditions.
A plea has also been issued by Investigator Williamson for eyewitnesses to come forward with information that will aid the current investigations.
“Investigations are still underway, and so we would appeal to eyewitnesses to come and give statements if they so desire. As it is right now, we are maintaining a presence and ensuring that the traffic moves freely. And from all indications, we have accomplished that” Williamson outlined.
