Latin pop singer Ricky Martin reportedly faces up-to 50 years in prison for alleged incest and domestic violence.

According to reports the cup of life singer is alleged to have had an incest relationship with his 21-year old nephew, who is said to have filed the report of domestic violence against Martin.

The accuser was identified as 21-year-old Dennis Yadiel Sanchez.

The news reportedly comes weeks after the 50-year-old pop star was said to be hit with a restraining order in Puerto Rico, with the partitioner citing domestic violence.

 According to reports; the petition which was granted last month, claims that victim was subjected to physical and psychological abuse during his seven-month relationship with Martin.

 The document alleged goes on to state that became violent and harassing over months, after refusing to accept the ending of the relationship by the accuser.

“[Martin] calls him frequently. In addition, the petitioner has seen him hanging around his residence on at least three occasions,” the restraining order reportedly states. “The petitioner fears for his safety… the petitioning party demonstrated that there is a substantial possibility of immediate risk of abuse ” it added.

Martin has sine denied the allegations following the news of the restraining order surfacing, taking to Instagram to proclaim his innocence.

“The protection order entered against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the judicial process with the facts and the dignity that characterize me,” Martin wrote in a statement.

“Because it is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make detailed statements at this time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity, and I receive them with all my heart.”

It remains uncertain what charges Martin will face, however Spanish news outlet Marca that reports he could spend up to 50 years behind bars under Puerto Rico Law for the allegations.

The singer is said to head to court on July 21.
