World Cup bound Reggae Girlz will continue their CONCACAF journey on Thursday when they face Canada in the semifinal round of the competition in Mexico.

The Girlz, who secured their second successive trip to the Cup finals on Monday with victory Haiti, will be looking to refocus as they set their sights on making the championship round of the competition.

The Jamaicans who are fourth in CONACAF will need to carry over the form from their last match in order get the better of the number 6 ranked team in World.

The Canadians who topped their group with a perfect three wins from three games record, will start as favorites however, history as shown, more so recently Jamaica has the propensity to rise the to the occasion when under pressure and create upsets.

The Girls would be entering the fixture more confidently following their qualification performance and will have less pressure to perform than Canada who may feel the need to live up to that favorites tag.

A win for the Girlz will not only see them advance to the finals of the tournament but will also guarantee them a place in the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.
