PSG set to sack Pochettino for Galtier

French Ligue 1 Kingpin Paris Saint Germaine (PSG) is reportedly set to sack current manager Mauricio Pochettino and replace him with Lille coach Christophe Galtier in the coming week.

According to reports Galtier who led lille to Ligue 1 championship in 2021 snapping PSG’s 8-year hold on the league will be unveiled in the coming days.

Reports assert that a full severance agreement is now finally in place for Pochettino to part ways as a manager with the club after two seasons at the helm.

An official announcement of his imminent departure is set to come soon following weeks of negotiations between the himself and the club.

Galtier who is said to have already agreed to personal terms with club, has reportedly already indentified Milan Škriniar and Renato Sanches as two of his top targets for PSG during the summer window.

Potchenino’s next move should he be sacked ahead of the season, remains uncertain after previously being linked to Manchester United.
