Dancehall’s star Alkaline is creating ‘Static’ within the streaming space after the video for his latest release Static has followed the steps of the audio to break into the top five most stream music on the island.

The video, which was released on June 10 has generated over 1.1 million streams to slowly creep up as the second most in-demand musical content on the island displacing previous holder Masicka- ‘Moments like these’

The track which is the third official release of the year, for the Vendetta boss is by far his most notarized song of 2022, with the video already surpassing figures for the official audio released three weeks prior.

 With the Top Prize Artiste’s stage show ‘New Rulez’ coming in a few weeks it’s no doubt expected, to boost streams not only on Static but other singles as well.

His previous singles Valuim, World Domination and Weekend have also been fairly received, with the latter based on numbers being his second most engaged release.

Despite the sudden increase of streams for Alka static remains way below ‘Top Prize’ with new sensation Skeng retaining his dominion over local streams with Gang Bang.

The track has managed to pull an additional 1-million views in the past week, to hold firm in the number 1 space with over 2-million streams.
