Police Officials in Pennsylvania have indicated that a Coatesville resident has been formally charged with the murder of his 20-year-old girlfriend and her friend who at the time of her death was 5 months pregnant.
The accused Mamadou Kallie, 23, was arrested and charged in the murders of Tiara Rodriguez-Diaz, 20, and Kimberly Ortiz-Zayas, 21, both of Coatesville. Kallie was also charged in the killing of Ortiz-Zayas’ unborn child.
Reports indicate that on Saturday, May 28, at 9:28 p.m., officers in Coatesville were called to a home on Mount Pleasant Street for reports of an argument. Upon arrival, officers found Rodriguez-Diaz shot multiple times, and rushed her to Paoli Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Kallie’s girlfriend, Kimberly Ortiz Zayas, was found nearby and pronounced dead at the scene while Rodriguez-Diaz’s 22-month-old son was in the backseat of the vehicle, unharmed. As it now stands, Kallie is being held without bond.
