R&B singer Jason Derulo had no tolerance for ‘trolls’ after getting into a scuffle with two strangers who called him Usher before hurling an expletive insult at him in the ARIA Hotel, Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The incident which was caught on video shows Derulo along with his security detail exiting an escalator when an unknown man from the opposite side of the room screams at him, “Hey Yo Usher..F-U…B**ch”.
The remarks didn’t go down well with the Trumpets singer, as he swiftly rushed over to the hecklers, breaking through several barriers of separation in the area to throw hands in the lobby.
Derulo was partially restrained while getting at the first male as his bodyguard held him from getting in an all-out brawl.
There was, however, no holding Derulo back from making a second charge as he went after another male who appears to strike him in defense of the man when he first ran over.
The attacker seemed to have further provoked the entertainer by yelling, “that’s my boy, you can’t punch my boy” after being pulled away.
The singer showed he can not only ‘bust-a-move’ but bust lips as well, as he sent his attacker tumbling to the ground with a right hook before being separated once more.
According to reports, both males have yet to press charges in regards to the incident. They, however, have up to a year to decide if they want to pursue a lawsuit against the artiste.
Derulo was reportedly given trespassing notice and ‘removed’ from the property.
